Bullet journaling is my secret weapon to staying organised. If you don’t know what a Bullet journal is read this post ‘Why you NEED a bullet journal’
While setting up my bullet journal for 2020 I thought I would add some new collections to the mix. The following bullet journal collections are some of the collections I added.
A year in pixels
A year in pixels is a great bullet journal collection to track your moods and be able to see trends over the year. It could also be useful to track your menstrual cycle beside your year in pixels to see correlations.
A wish list bullet journal collection is a must-have for my bujo. Whether its places to go or items to buy put it in a wish list collection to refer back to down the track.
TV show tracker
I love this cute TV show tracker collection. I can keep track of what episode I’m up to in my favorite shows. I have found it useful because I tend to watch a show and then go long periods of time before I watch another episode.
The Undo List
This is a helpful list to pair with your new year resolutions. This idea came from the website Little Coffee Fox. It works like a to do list but you list things that you are currently doing that you need to “undo” or stop doing to lead a happy life. From your list you can then create a plan on how you are going to do your “undoing”.
My gratitude log helps me put life in perspective. I just write one thing a day to feel grateful for and when I’m feeling crap I read back over my entries and see everything I have to be grateful for.
Books to read
Having a collection of books to read is useful to me because I will hear of a book that I think I would like to read but if I don’t write it down I never remember them. So having my bullet journal with me always I can just add to my reading list.
I read about Hygge on Pinterest. It’s a Norwegian word for a mood of coziness and comfortable conviviality with feelings of wellness and contentment. I keep a hygge collection in my bullet journal so that when I need to feel content or happier than I am, I refer to this collection to tell me ways of feeling better.
A nice addition to your bullet journal is a memory log. You can either write a memory from the day, draw something or stick a small photo in. It’s nice to be able to look back at your memories. I use it because I haven’t got the time to scrapbook.
Your bullet journal is the perfect place to put your goals either personal or business. They are always with you then.
I created a very basic savings tracker that’s simple to use. I drew 26 squares for the 26 fortnights there is in a year and my family and I have pledged to save a minimum of $40 a fortnight (there is a typo in the writing on the bottom of my page, I put $20). It may not seem much but any little amount helps at Christmas time.
As I suffer from mental health issues, having an affirmations bullet journal collection helps me when I am feeling down. I have a list of positive affirmations stored in this collection because having a positive mindset can do wonders for your attitude.
Weight loss tracker
This is a new one for me. I am trying to lose 10 kilos this year so having this collection will keep me motivated.
If you track your moods, tracking your period beside it can show you patterns and then you will be better able to manage hopefully. P.S spot the error in the picture :).
This is another one that is new to me. I’m hoping that seeing how much I’ve eaten will discourage me from eating more and encourage me to eat better.
I do most of my shopping online, so an order tracker is really useful for me to remember when I bought something.
Meal planning collection
I’ve found that when it comes to meal planning, having a family favourites list in my bullet journal is invaluable. All I have to do is look at the list and find something for dinner that the family actually likes. When I’m really organised I plan the whole weeks dinners out in my bullet journal too.
Weekly cleaning list
Cleaning your house can start to feel like an uphill battle, so breaking it down into daily tasks can make it easier to manage.
I have started keeping a monthly playlist collection of the songs I play regularly that month. I have also created these playlists in spotify so all i have to do is ask my google hub to play “January 2020” playlist.
What I love about myself
This collection is a hard one for me as I struggle with self-love. Having it in my bullet journal and reviewing it regularly actually helps my self-esteem.Smart.bio is the most powerful FREE Instagram bio linking tool. Grab yours today!
Brain Dumps are useful for when you just need to vent and don’t need it to look nice. Just get it on paper and review it later.
And that’s that 20 bullet journal collections for 2020. Feel free to comment or email me when your opinions at email@example.com.
